1. Promoter
The promoter of this promotion is Link My Trade Limited, a New Zealand-owned and operated business ("Promoter", "we", "us", "our"). The Promoter can be contacted via linkmytrade.nz.
2. Promotion Overview
This promotion (“Canterbury Home Upgrade Giveaway”) gives eligible homeowners the chance to win prizes from
the prize pool described in clause 7 below, totalling NZD $2,600 or more in combined value. This promotion is a
sales promotion scheme conducted in accordance with the Gambling Act 2003 (NZ) and the Fair Trading Act 1986
(NZ).
3. Promotion Period
The promotion runs from 06 February 2026 to 05 May 2026 ("Promotion Period"). The prize draw will take place on 06 May 2026. Entries received outside the Promotion Period will not be eligible.
4. Eligibility
Entry is open only to homeowners who:
• Are residents of New Zealand; and
• Are aged 18 years or over; and
• Hold an active homeowner account on the Link My Trade platform; and
• Post an eligible job during the Promotion Period.
The following persons are not eligible to enter or win:
• Tradies, contractors, or businesses posting jobs as service providers;
• Employees, directors, or contractors of Link My Trade Limited or any partner organisation;
• Immediate family members of the above.
5. How to Enter
To enter the draw, an eligible homeowner must:
1. Register or log in to their homeowner account at linkmytrade.nz; and
2. Post a job on the platform during the Promotion Period.
No minimum job value is required. No additional payment is required to enter the draw. One entry per homeowner
per job posted. Multiple jobs may result in multiple entries.
6. Prize Details
The prize pool for the Canterbury Home Upgrade Giveaway consists of the following prizes, provided by the
Promoter and contributing partner businesses:

Total Prize Pool Value NZD $2,600+Important notes regarding prizes:
• Partner prizes contributed by R&S Trade Centre, Garden Box, Scobie Tyres, Hammer Hardware Lincoln,
Wattyl, and Interior Effects are reward vouchers redeemable exclusively in-store at the specific contributing
partner business only. Partner reward vouchers cannot be used at any other store, transferred to another
person, exchanged for cash, or used in combination with other offers unless expressly permitted by that
partner. The Automate The Trades (ATT) prize is a 2-month Professional tier subscription and is the only
prize in this promotion that may be transferred by the winner to a tradie of their choosing.
• The Link My Trade $1,000 grand prize will be provided as a reward voucher only. No cash will be transferred
under any circumstances. The LMT reward voucher may be used at any New Zealand retail store or supplier
to purchase home renovation or home improvement materials, products, or services of the winner’s
choosing.
• Only One winner per prize!
• No prize or component of any prize is transferable, exchangeable, or redeemable for cash. All prizes are
reward vouchers only. No cash equivalent will be offered or paid under any circumstances.
• The Promoter is not responsible for the goods or services provided by partner businesses.
• Partner prizes are subject to the terms and conditions of the respective partner business.
• The Interior Effects prize (20% discount) is valid for one in-store purchase and is subject to Interior Effects'
standard terms and conditions.
• Wattyl vouchers consist of four (4) separate NZD $50 in-store vouchers.
• Garden Box vouchers consist of two (2) separate NZD $150 in-store vouchers.
7. Prize Draw and Announcement
The winner will be selected by random draw from all eligible entries received during the Promotion Period.
• The draw will take place on 6 May 2026.
• The draw will be conducted by the Promoter or an authorised representative.
• The winner will be contacted directly using the contact details registered in their Link My Trade account
within five (5) business days of the draw.
• The winner may be announced publicly via Link My Trade's website and social media channels, subject to
the winner's consent.
• If the winner cannot be contacted within ten (10) business days, or is found to be ineligible, the Promoter
reserves the right to redraw and select an alternative winner.
• The Promoter's decision regarding the winner is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
8. Privacy
Personal information collected as part of this promotion will be handled in accordance with the Privacy Act 2020 (NZ)
and Link My Trade's Privacy Policy available at linkmytrade.nz. Information collected will be used solely for:
• Administering the promotion;
• Verifying eligibility;
• Contacting and announcing the winner;
• Complying with legal obligations.
Personal information will not be shared with third parties except as required to administer the promotion or as
required by law. Entrants may request access to or correction of their personal information by contacting us through
register@linkmytrade.nz.
9. General Conditions
• The Promoter reserves the right to amend, suspend, or cancel the promotion at any time if required for legal,
technical, or operational reasons, with reasonable notice where possible.
• Entries that are incomplete, illegible, or submitted by automated means will be deemed invalid.
• The Promoter accepts no responsibility for late, lost, or misdirected entries due to technical issues.
• By entering the promotion, entrants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
• This promotion is not sponsored, endorsed, or administered by Meta (Facebook/Instagram), Google, or any
other third-party platform.
• Any tax obligations arising from winning a prize are the sole responsibility of the winner.
• These Terms and Conditions supplement Link My Trade's standard Terms and Conditions and Privacy
Policy. In the event of any inconsistency, the standard Terms and Conditions prevail.
10. Partner Acknowledgement
The following Canterbury businesses have generously contributed prizes to the Canterbury Home Upgrade
Giveaway. Their participation does not constitute an endorsement of Link My Trade beyond their agreed contribution,
and each partner's prize is subject to their own terms and conditions:

Note: The ATT prize (2 months Professional tier subscription, valued at NZD $398) is the only prize in this promotion that is
transferable. The winner may pass this prize to a tradie of their choosing at their sole discretion.
11. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes arising from this promotion will
be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts.
