Client Code of Conduct

Effective Date: February 2026
This Client Code of Conduct sets out the standards of behaviour expected of allhomeowners, property managers, and businesses (“Clients”) using the Link My Trade(“LMT”) platform.By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to comply with this Codein addition to LMT’s Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy.
1. Purpose and Scope
Link My Trade is a directory and connection platform that enables Clients todiscover and connect with independent Tradies.
This Code exists to promote respectful engagement, transparency, and platformintegrity.any Client.
It does not create any contractual, agency, or supervisory relationship between LMT and any Client.

2. Respectful and Lawful Conduct
Clients must act honestly, respectfully, and lawfully when using the platform.
Clients must not:
• Engage in abusive, threatening, discriminatory, or harassing behaviour
• Use offensive, misleading, or inappropriate language
• Attempt to intimidate, pressure, or coerce TradiesLMT has zero tolerance for behaviour that compromises user safety or trust.

3. Accuracy of Job Information
Clients are responsible for ensuring that job listings and communications areaccurate and not misleading.
This includes:
• Providing truthful descriptions of the work required
• Disclosing relevant site conditions or risks
• Communicating realistic expectations around timelines and access
Providing false or misleading job information may result in account restrictionsor removal.

4. Engagement with Tradies
Clients acknowledge and agree that:
• Tradies listed on LMT are independent businesses
• LMT does not recommend, endorse, or guarantee any Tradie
• All work arrangements are made directly with the Tradie

Clients are responsible for:
• Requesting quotes and confirming scope of work
• Checking licences, registrations, and insurance
• Agreeing on pricing, timelines, and terms before work begins

5. Payments and Disputes
All payments, deposits, and financial arrangements occur directly between the Client and the Tradie.
Clients must not:
• Request work without a genuine intention to engage or pay
• Withhold payment for completed work without lawful justification
• Attempt to involve LMT in payment or workmanship disputes
Any dispute relating to work performed must be resolved directly with the Tradie.

6. Reviews and Feedback
Clients may leave public reviews based on genuine service experiences.
When leaving a review, Clients must:
• Be honest and fair
• Base feedback on actual work performed
• Avoid defamatory, abusive, or exaggerated statements

Clients must not:
• Leave false or retaliatory reviews
• Threaten negative reviews to obtain discounts or refunds
• Review services that were not actually provided
LMT may remove reviews that breach these standards.

7. Safety and Legal Compliance
Clients must ensure that:
• Worksites are reasonably safe and accessible
• Tradies are not asked to perform unlawful or unsafe work
• Health and safety obligations applicable to property owners or occupiers are met
LMT is not responsible for site conditions or safety compliance.

8. Platform Integrity and Use
Clients must not:
• Use the platform for unlawful, misleading, or harmful purposes
• Harvest Tradie data for spam, resale, or unrelated marketing
• Attempt to bypass LMT systems or safeguards
• Use automated tools, bots, scraping software, or AI systems to extract platform data

9. Enforcement and Discretion
Compliance with this Code is a condition of platform access.
LMT may, at its sole discretion:
• Issue warnings
• Restrict account functionality
• Suspend or terminate access to the platform
LMT is not obligated to provide reasons, advance notice, or appeal processes, though it may do so at its discretion.

10. Relationship to Other Documents
This Code supplements LMT’s Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy.
If there is any inconsistency, the Terms & Conditions prevail.

By continuing to use the Link My Trade platform, you acknowledge that you haveread, understood, and agree to comply with this Client Code of Conduct.
